Andrew Hassinger currently works for Boulder County, where he has been employed in the Assessor’s Office since 2011. Previously, he was with the City and County of Denver in the Residential Division as a staff and associate appraiser. All of his roles have been highly coveted positions in which Andrew was hired and promoted for his industry knowledge and passion for quality customer service.

Hassinger entered the world of residential real estate appraisal in 2007, where he gained local experience as a fee appraiser before he entered government agencies.

“I am thrilled to enter this campaign with the support and enthusiasm of the Jefferson County Democrats, as well as my family, friends, neighbors and coworkers,” says Andrew Hassinger. “I have always been interested in serving my community and this position allows me to apply my career experience and make a true impact.”

Hassinger has held various positions on the Colorado Association of Tax Appraisers (CATA) since 2010, where he has been president for the last two years. The CATA Board works closely with the Colorado Division of Property Taxation to bring together an annual conference in which appraisers who work for counties across the state can obtain their 42 hours of continuing education that is required by federal regulations.

Andrew has also served as an appointed board member on the Lakewood Board of Appeals since March 2012 and has become an expert on topics pertaining to real estate appraisal education.
